Opticron Photo adapters
Telephotography with SLR, DSLR and Mirrorless cameras (ML) In these systems the fieldscope substitutes for the camera lens and is coupled to the camera body using either a telephotoadapter or an eyepiece & photoadapter combination.
This telephoto adapter is connected in place of the eyepiece. As a result it cannot provide the flexibility of a adapter which is slid over the eyepiece, however the image quality is better. Since the image area is better-illuminated, image defects such as distortion or vignetting can be reduced.
Corresponds to a focal length (compared with full-frame cameras) of:
- Opticron HR 66 - 800mm
- Opticron HR 80 - 900mm
- Opticron ES 80 - 950mm
- Opticron ES 100 - 1250 mm
- Opticron MM 4 50mm - 530mm
- Opticron MM 4 60mm - 700mm
You will need a T2 ring to connect your camera.
