Transmitted brightfield illumination is one of the most commonly used observation method in optical microscopy, and is ideal for fixed, stained specimens or other types of samples having high natural absorption of visible light. B-510 series is fitted with high-efficiency LED brightfield illuminator X-LED3, for the best outcome when using this technique. Mechanics:

B-500 Polarized Light

The B-500 Series is made of a comprehensive range of microscopes which have been designed to greatly perform in routine laboratory applications, including two solutions for polarized light. B-500POL is equipped with transmitted light only; for the most demanding users, the B-500POL-I is the perfect resposnse, as it offers also incident illumination. The illumination installed on B-500 Series represents the state-of-the-art, with X-LED³ (3.6W) as transmitted, and the ultra-efficient X-LED8 (8W) as incident light. Objectives are strain-free, being purposely designed for these applications. The swing-out Bertrand lens is centrable (for conoscopy/orthoscopy), whilst the attachment includes a 0°-90° rotating analyzer filter with tint plates. The stage is 360° rotating with stop knoband the condenser includes the rotating polarizing filter.
